Perhaps you picked up some biotin or other vitamins or maybe some coconut oil after last week’s TOT post.  I left you hanging with limiting your styling heat and not washing your locks every day.  In fact, if you can go several days, then good for you!  Scale back the temperature setting on your curling or flat iron- if there is one- and let your hair air dry as long as you can.  Also, try not to use the hottest setting on your hair dryer.  I know, this is all very difficult.  If only we could hibernate an entire year only to step out our front door with long, luscious, flowing hair!

I’ve tried a few dry shampoos that I didn’t love.  The latest that’s been working for me is TIGI Rockaholic Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo- WOW, that’s quite the name!  You can find it here at a great price!!!  I usually just go to Ulta, but Ulta to me is like Target.  I go in for one thing and come out with 10!  (It’s the displays up at the register, so many pretties and fancies I simply MUST try.)  Anyway, I just spray my roots, give myself a little scalp massage and brush it through the rest of my hair. I can tell a difference from when I use it and the days I forget. This is great for all hair types, but especially for those of you that get the oily look on day two.

There are lots of oils out there…argon, coconut, macadamia, keratin…but my ultimate favorite is Moroccan Oil.  Not gonna lie friends…it is not cheap.  I will tell you this, in all honesty, it lasts.  I only have to buy this 2-3 times/year.  Also not gonna lie, my bestie is a stylist and she is able to hook a sista up.  I would still get it at full price (and have) because I really believe it works wonders.  A little goes a long way.  So far, this is your splurge item,  but I promise it’s worth it.  You can find it here.  Ulta does not carry this.  They do carry Macadamia Oil and that’s perfectly fine for a more budget friendly option.

Moroccanoil® Treatment

If you have products you love, share them!  I am not just here to help you and offer my advice, I want yours as well.  Perhaps there is something I don’t know about and need to try.  I am always open for questions, comments, and feedback.

Get your hair on track. I have a few more items to share, but see what you can do so far with what I’ve shared.  Happy Tuesday, Loves!

Always, Meg
